Dark Fairy Tales EP
7 Grams has made a very strong impression globally in a short period of time. With support by Fedde Le Grand, Tommy Trash, Tiesto, and many more celebrated taste-makers.
7 Grams has carved out his own sound and style which can be best described as big room festival music. Think Tomorrowland or EDC MainStage vibes and this is what 7Grams’ mantra lives by.
‘Feel The Bass’ is as wide as it is deep - huge synth riffs and a staggeringly large breakdown make this a hands in the air moment, with the B Side being the title track of the LP, ‘ Dark Fairy Tale’. Chunky at its apex and the penultimate build starts with beautiful floating melodies and abstract textures before falling into a rolling big room number.
7 Grams was considerate to even provide us with a Dubbed Out remix which is a bit more minimalistic in tone but still very powerful for those live big room venues. ‘Digital Dust’ is a more melodic approach yet still with his 7 Grams signature aggressive drops and wide baselines.
As an exclusive release to follow with his sophomore release, 7 Grams has included a Re-Edit Mix of his ‘Fame Or Shame’ single that was released months back with great acclaim.
To close out the LP we have ‘Robot Carnival’ which is as twisted and turbulent as a carnival itself - undulating synths and winding percussive roads take us to a strange and exciting place, and truly that is the underlying motif of this whole LP. A beautiful release by
the hottest rising new star 7 Grams.
