I'm so Diao
With 7 Grams recent live performance at OWL Festival in China as well as his last release hitting Top 3 Electro House and Big Room New Releases on the DJ-centric Beatport charts, his momentum is becoming commensurate with his talent.
“I’m So DIAO” is his heavy hitting summer single and this release is chock full of other massive festival records that typifies his show performances and live sets.
On the A side we have the original mix of “I’m So DIAO” - a popular Chinese slang expression that fits the vibe of 7 Grams record. Aggressive and powerful, the counterpoint to this is 7 Grams Trap remix - explosive drums right off the gate combined with a sleek sense of power chord riffs make the high intensity variation on the original sketch.
‘Junk Food and Beats’ is playful in its nature and is a very big room sound which already has seen support from such names as Fedde Le Grand, Axwell and many more. The Trap Remix on the counterpoint is again that duality between the four to the floor beats and the broken beat cross rhythms of the trap style.
On the final end is ‘Future Invasion’, electro in its squelchy bass tones and refreshingly forward thinking in its slower tempo grindhouse saws.
This release typifies the big room and live festival sound that is 7 Grams and in the coming months he will be releasing his first record to Billboard Canada.
