Up All Night EP

ANNIO has a relentlessly smooth tech house sound that is strong and powerful, indicative of the Detroit dance movement in the mid 90’s. There is a dash of brash vocal laden sample work mixed with percussive jabs and sways which characterize this really fundamental base of electronic music. ‘Up All Night’ is the standalone track off the EP with ebbs and gyrations of bass colour swelling to the penultimate breakdown moment of abstract vocal layers. On the B Side is ‘To The House Beat’ which has an upbeat kick to it, and crashing drum samples abound with a subbed out round baseline underlay. Finally on the C Side is ‘You Sexy’, a provocative interpretation of a modal experiment turned club record.
