Eclipse

Rich textured landscapes, shimmering melodic melodies, and an intelligent sensibility when it comes to underground club music, new artist Dave Ohms is certainly no stranger to electronic music composition - he is a teacher at Musicboxx’s production classes, teaching students daily on how to compose and produce electronic music. His passion arose from the glory days of the progressive house and techno scene of the late 90’s onwards. That is absolutely reflected in his writing and sound design sensibilities - on Dave’s “Eclipse” record we have flittering melodies juxtaposed with a club framework - rich production and textures take us on a wonderful trip. On the remix duties is label owner Jim Spirou who honours the original melodic motifs that were throughout the original mix, but also changes up the percussive rhythm and tonality to the breakdown - it is a wonderful compliment to the A Side. Overall this release has a beautiful range of feeling and sensibility for the clubland and we hope you enjoy it in the best of settings.
