Multilayered and with subtle vocal nuances that are highly reminiscent from mid 90’s clubland, wonderful session musician TDK delivers a statement piece for the SOAR label. Featuring the flighty vocals of Dani Doucette, flashes of atmospheric vocals drift into the cosmos, with the original mix retaining a lot of that melancholic metallic synth power, and the Seasoned remixes providing a stark contrast for depth of release. Seasoned String Remix is an orchestral affair, with string riff staccato’s flying around throughout the piece, and the Drama Dub being exactly that - subby hypnotic deep tech house music. As the 2017 comes to a close, the SOAR label has been aiming to release thoughtful and carefully orchestrated record releases, and this particular release is a statement to the kind of quality that will be forthcoming in 2018.
